VISIT OUR COFFEE ROASTER
IN DOWNTOWN QUEPOS!

Curious as to how we started our Manuel Antonio restaurant?

In the early 90’s, a couple of university students embarked on a Costa Rican adventure that continues to this day. The doors to our artisan coffee roaster first opened in 1994 in downtown Quepos. A couple of years later we began our Manuel Antonio restaurant, El Patio de Café Milagro, which continues to be featured by local and travel guides, as the best Manuel Antonio restaurant.

WHAT PAST VISITORS HAVE TO SAY

So good we went back twice! The food here is as good as any hotel and we were sorry we only discovered this Maneul Antonio restaurant on the penultimate day of our trip. I love Caribbean food and there is plenty to be had here and - even better - a list of gluten free options. I was so pleased to be able to enjoy the food without a worry. The coffee is also excellent - we left with two bags of beans and a toy sloth! I would come back to MA just for this and might even look into shipping some coffee to the UK. A great find.

We ate 3 times at this Manuel Antonio restaurant. They have wonderful filling dinners and their breakfast is wonderful. I had their French Toast with Bacon. Very good. The staff is really friendly and very good at their jobs. It was one of my favorites while in Costa Rica.

This place was great. All the way around, the food was amazing, service friendly, and their tres leches was the best we had anywhere in Costa Rica.

While we enjoyed many restaurants in the Manuel Antonio area, Cafe Milagro was our favorite for lunch. In fact it's the only Manuel Antonio restaurant we went to more than once. Eco-friendly, though this is not necessarily a requirement for me, I found that the focus on locally produced food, freshness, and quality, is a big reason for Cafe Milagro's popularity. The fish tacos are fantastic, although I saw numerous other plates on other tables that were very tempting. Located centrally, Cafe Milagro is easy to find. If you're driving just be creative and find a place to park on either side of the street. Tables on the street side are nice but can get a little noisy because of the traffic. There is inside seating and the patio in the rear is nice and secluded, though I appreciated our server suggesting it might be a bit to hot when we there on our 2nd visit. The staff is efficient and friendly and don't forget to check out the desserts. Dinner is also a very popular time to visit Cafe Milagro.
